Frequently Asked Questions

Tell me about the signs!

They are the ultimate way to showcase your collections! You've spent hundreds or thousands of dollars to culminate your collections and create amazing displays - affixing a high quality display sign really brings it all together and is the cherry on top. That's why we say, Treat Your Shelf!!

How are they made?

Each sign piece is drawn/designed by me using Adobe Illustrator, then converted to a 3D file. They are printed by me on my home printers, mostly using PLA Plastic. A few are also done in resin, depending on their details. Each sign is then hand painted by me using enamel paints, then sealed and packaged.

How do I display them?

Any way you want, depending on your displays. Command Strips, Velcro Dots or Mounting Tape are some of the more popular methods, but you can use double-sided tape, magnets, etc. Some display them in front of shelves or lean them up in front of their figures, or sometimes in the back of the display - it's really just your personal preference!

How long do they take to make/deliver?

Most pieces are made to order, and in the order they are placed. That means I have to print, prep, paint and package each piece. The paint takes several days to fully cure before they can be packed. I also have a real job and family obligations! Based on existing orders and my personal bandwidth, I estimate 3 weeks (hopefully sooner) to ship.

Do you take requests/ do custom designs?

Until otherwise announced, I am unable to take on new commissions of custom designs/ personal logos. It is much more time consuming, than putting out show pieces. However, any designs of toy lines/ characters, movies, cartoons, etc, can be submitted using the link here: https://linktr.ee/dblakemakes . You can also upload your logos, and if/when I do get to work on commissions, I will work on them based on ease of design and date of submission.
